As a member of the Ball Eggleston team, my primary areas of practice are personal injury, criminal defense, estate planning and administration, and family law.
During my undergraduate studies, I worked for a law office where I was exposed to several different areas of law and was encouraged to go to law school. This experience set me on the path to my career at Ball Eggleston. I graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2011 and was admitted to the Indiana Bar that same year. I am also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, as well as the United States Supreme Court.
I began my career as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Tippecanoe County. At the Prosecutor’s Office, I gained valuable courtroom and trial experience. I successfully prosecuted numerous misdemeanor and major felony cases. I also prosecuted several misdemeanor and major felony cases through to jury trial. From there, I chose to practice law at Ball Eggleston because of the firm’s outstanding reputation for doing excellent work and a long history of serving the Lafayette community.
Practicing at Ball Eggleston allows me to work alongside attorneys who have incredible knowledge, skill, experience, and are exceptional at what they do. I am grateful to work at a law firm that takes pride in helping people, especially people who are hurt. The positive and long-lasting relationships we build with our clients are amazing. I have been fortunate to take multiple civil cases to trial as part of our team.
I am a member of various professional associations including the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Tippecanoe County Bar Association, and the Indiana State Bar Association.
I am grateful that Ball Eggleston encourages and promotes giving back to our community. I am a member of the United Way Emerging Leaders group and a graduate of the Leadership Lafayette program. Also, I have served as an Officer and Member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Lafayette, and as a Committee Member for the Home Selection Committee. Additionally, I have volunteered as a Big Brother through Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Lafayette.
