Background

At Ball Eggleston, Jack Walkey’s focus is on individual and family estate and tax planning, estate administration, trusts, tax — deferred (I.R.C. 1031) exchanges, and residential, commercial, and farm real estate. 

Jack was introduced to law and to Ball Eggleston by a former member of the firm. After clerking at Ball Eggleston during law school, he was glad to join a firm that provides good, competent legal service. 

He is a Board-Certified Indiana Trust and Estate Lawyer by the Trust and Estate Specialty Board. He’s a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and Tippecanoe County Bar Association (past President). 

Jack has frequently contributed to the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum seminars for attorneys and members of the community on topics relating to real estate, estate planning, trusts and estate administration. He also served on the board of many local organizations and recently was honored to receive the Grand Marquis de Lafayette Award from the City of Lafayette for his 25 years of service to the Lafayette Police Civil Service Commission.
